Things I learned from Mom and Dad:
- Eat brown eggs – nutritionally you know they are the same but you will think they taste better
- When invited to someone’s home as a guest never arrive empty handed
- Watch the news every night – it’s good for you
- Voting is an important right you should exercise whenever you have the opportunity
- A fancy car is not really important
- Hard work will almost always pay off for you
- Be generous – people may occasionally take advantage of you but it will ultimately feed your soul
